William was identified as a high performer in the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) by the Australian Mathematics Trust and was one of 120 students across Western Australia and South Australia who were invited to apply to attend digIT, with a panel of experts selecting just 60 students to participate.
digIT is an awesome program designed to introduce students with potential to algorithmic thinking, coding and other aspects of ICT, and to encourage the continuance of ICT studies in senior secondary school and at tertiary level. It will combine two residential camps with a mentoring program over a six-month period.
William was successful in gaining a position and we congratulate him on this outstanding achievement, we know he has the skills to thrive in this exciting new program. Mrs L Jankowski
