World’s Greatest Shave – Wednesday 3rd June 2020 11-12pm Now in its 22nd year the Leukaemia Foundations World’s Greatest Shave is one of Australia’s longest running and most loved fundraising events. More than 2 million Aussies have taken part over the past two decades, with an estimated 375,500 kilograms of hair removed! Every day another 41 Australians are told they have blood cancer (that’s one person every 36 minutes) and sadly 20 people will lose their life to blood cancer daily. People of all ages channel their inner superhereo and shave, colour or wax their hair. Our superheros for 2020 are from our Joondalup Campus, Mr Leggett together with three Year 12 students, Jarad A, Mitchell V and Keegan I. are all having their hair professional removed by a former student (now qualified hairdresser) Catherine R. Due to social distancing we will be streaming live via google meet and accepting donations via the link below. Good Luck to our JC Superheroes. meet.google.com/nyw-gewy-uun https://aus01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsecure.leukaemiafoundation.org.au%2Fregistrant%2FTeamFundraisingPage.aspx%3FTeamID%3D117374&data=02%7C01%7CDeborah.Winch%40education.wa.edu.au%7C1e5ecd139ecc47c4934808d802c4856e%7Ce08016f9d1fd4cbb83b0b76eb4361627%7C0%7C0%7C637262390355634726&sdata=Lv5QJ5Nrzdte%2BhJZPb1zkwpxA%2FinAPCzx0OKt0gSm8c%3D&reserved=0
