Year 11 student Alyssa C joined the Embroiderers’ Guild of Western Australia at the start of 2021 becoming the Guilds youngest member.
Attending classes at the Guild’s Greenwood group during her school holidays, Alyssa quickly developed an interest in Canvas work.
During the October school holidays Alyssa entered a piece of her Canvas work into the 2021 Perth Royal Show.
Alyssa’s entry not only won first place in her section, but was also awarded Best in Show in the 17 and under division.
Congratulations to Alyssa.
